Profile raising pet business ideas for Spring

Spring is in the air which means lighter mornings and evenings, no need to wrap up and some much needed sunshine.

And we can spend more time outdoors enjoying life with our pets.

After a dreary winter, it’s time to lift our spirits, and think of ways to connect with our customers and potential clients through our content.

Whether it’s for your website, social media or a press campaign, there’s plenty of hooks and angles you can use.

In this podcast episode are ideas to keep your product or service front of mind.

Listen on the player link below or carry on reading the key points as a blog post.

Planning your pet business content for spring

We’re going into April tomorrow, the second quarter of 2022, and while working with animals means we’ve no shortage of cuteness to share, we need to do a little more to stand out.

If we want the people who are checking us out to feel they can trust our products or service, then some thought needs to go behind what we put out there.

This can apply to our social media and website content and any press pitches we send too.

Why create content for your pet business around the seasons?

The change in the seasons can affect our pets whether it’s the change in temperature or the environment where they walk being more dry or muddy.

Then there’s things like plants and flowers. Did you know spring plants like Daffodils, Bluebells, Azaelas, Tulips and Hyacinchs can be toxic to pets?

The change in seasons also affects our lifestyle too. In the Spring, we’re out and about more as the weather is warmer and the nights are lighter.

We might be planning a summer holiday or things to do with the children during school holidays. Pets are part of the family so their needs should be considered.

Key dates in the diary for your pet business this spring

In April, May and June we have a number of key dates.

There’s Easter in April – this year it’s 15th April for Good Friday and Easter Monday is on April 18th.

Then in May we have the early Bank Holiday on May 2nd and in the UK we have two Bank Holidays in June on the 2nd and 3rd for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
